Lucky performed at clubs, wineries and festivals throughout southern and central New Jersey, and Asbury Park and Point Pleasant at the shore. Jean Therapy performed in community summer concert series in Philadelphia, Central Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. A resident of West Chester PA, Jake has recorded several CDs. Jake Michael is a very creative and tasteful artist who plays guitars, ukulele and banjo. Richard has performed extensively with singer-songwriters.
The band performs regularly at venues in Delaware County PA. Most recently he played sax in the First Impression band, playing 1970’s progressive rock tunes by Pink Floyd, Supertramp, Renaissance and other artists. Redding has performed in many bands, reflecting a wide range of musical styles. Recent shows have included Steel City Coffeehouse in Phoenixville PA and the Collingswood NJ Porchfest. Martha Michael (no relation) plays trumpet, arranges horn parts, and is our music theory guru. Jake is the singer, guitarist and master-planner of medleys. Richard is a member of the Penny Lane Combo (formerly known as the Penny Lane Jazz Ensemble), a trio led by Jake Michael that plays Beatles’ tunes in medleys with songs by other artists.

Richard is an experienced professional musician and soloist, particularly skilled in improvising and jamming. He has been performing in rock bands, blues bands and various small ensembles for 50 years. As a youth growing up in Glenside PA, Richard played sax, clarinet, oboe and recorder. His father was a talented sax player who enjoyed the “big band” style of music.
